“Here’s to you, Dr. Atwater.”

Join the Facebook Event and mark yourself as “Attending”:
you’ll have a chace to win a free shot glass!  We’ll choose
one winner per day, eight in all.

The Mu Chi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega will be selling shot glasses undercover for the remainder of this week (until 11/07).  To track down places to buy shot glasses, visit our Twitter page.  Next week, we’ll be in the HUB (near the fitness center entrance) from 12-5PM, Monday through Friday (11/10-11/14). Shot glasses will sell for $4.

Proceeds will benefit Alpha Phi Omega, a national co-ed community service fraternity.  IUP’s Mu Chi chapter completes service projects not only in Indiana and surrounding areas, but also areas as far away as Pittsburgh.  The fraternity also participates in many national and global service efforts.

Alisha suggested that we do an intra-fraternity t-shirt sale - basically, create personalized APO t-shirts (last name/nickname/number, etc.) and sell them within the brotherhood.  I’ll look into where we can have this done for next Wednesday.

As far as selling shot glasses go, we’ve came up with three possible slogans:
  • “We pregame like you party.”
  • I Usually Party.”
  • “Here’s to Dr. Atwater.”
If you have any suggestions for the shot glasses, let me know before or on Sunday - we’ll be voting on it then.

Using the poll I emailed out to everyone, we’ve picked out three Heinz Field dates - two Steelers games (Oct. 26 and Nov. 9) and one Pitt game (Nov. 8).  I will email Sean Lorenzo (our contact at the security company) tomorrow and will have departure and approximate return times for each game by Sunday’s meeting.

If you have any fundraising ideas, please don’t hesitate to email or call/txt me. :)
